Hong Junsheng (1907-1996), was from Ji'nan, Shandong province. He was deciple of Chen Fa'ke. He studied Tai Chi from Chen Fa'ke about 15 years. For family reason he had to move back to Shandong. Then he promoted the style he studied in Bejing to Shandong.
In 1956, he visited Chen Fa'ke in Beijing. Chen corrected each single movements of Hong's practice. He showed his own practice to Chen Fa'ke. Chen approved his practice.
After the visiting, he began to teach students the practice he modified by himself in order to let students master Tai Chi in short time. Through practice, people found that Hong's method was very effective.
He emphasized the theory Silk-Reeling which was published by Chen Xin during practice, with the application from Chen Fa'ke together, to make Chen Tai Chi more practical.
He was good at poetry and literature, so he could explain Tai Chi through poetry in order to let people understand these difficule Tai Chi theory more easily.
