Qiu Chuji (1148-1227), the famous Daoist master in the Jin and Ming dynasties. One of the Seven Real-Person of Northern Total Reality School. He is considered as the founder of Dragon Gate School. He was from Dengxia, Shandong province. He traveled more than 10,000 miles to meet Genghis khan in order to convince him to follow the Daoist principle of stop killing. He made tremendous contribution to the development of Daoism in the history. He wrote many famous works such as Direct Teaching of Great Dao, Collection of Panxi.
