Jiang Rongqiao (1891-1963), from Cangzhou, Hebei province. When he was a child, he studied Shaolin and Mizong from his uncle Jiang Deta, who was a government martial art official. Later, he went to Tianjin to study Xing Yi and Ba Gua from Li Cunyi and Zhang Zhaodong. In 1928, he opened Shangwu Jinde Martial Art association. He wrote many books. In 1930, he worked in the National Martial Art Academy as director of Editing and Supervision Department. In 1953, he was the General Referee of the National Sport Event. In 1955, he became blind, but he still kept teaching and gave many demonstrations in public. He wrote the book "Ba Gua Zhang" which has been re-published for about a million copies.
